FROM THE FARM TO PREMIUM SKINCARE

Our interest in snail mucin began through our experience with snail farming.

We originally farmed snails for the food market, including supplying restaurants where snails are enjoyed as escargot.

Through working with snails, we became interested in another part of the snail — its natural secretion.

We began researching its potential in skincare and moved into formulation and product development.

This journey ultimately led to the development of the Konokono skincare range.
